DMCA and takedown
Metadata index only
BT9G does not store torrent files or seed content. A takedown request asks us to stop showing matching metadata in public search, not to delete files on other people’s computers.
What you can report
You may report copyright infringement, illegal content, privacy violations, malware, misleading records, or other serious abuse. Upon a valid request we remove matching results from the index.
How to submit
Open the result page and use Report. Provide the public record id or info hash, the reason, and enough detail for us to locate the listing. For copyright claims, confirm you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
Copyright notices
If you believe indexed metadata points to material that infringes your copyright, include: (1) your contact details; (2) identification of the work; (3) the exact BT9G URL or public key; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or their agent; (6) your signature (typed name is enough on the form).
Misrepresentation
Knowingly false reports may result in rejection of future notices and, where the law allows, liability for damages caused by the misrepresentation.
Child sexual abuse material
We do not tolerate CSAM. Report it immediately through the report form with reason “illegal content”. Matching records are removed from the public index.
