What BT9G is

BT9G is a search engine for BitTorrent metadata observed on the public Distributed Hash Table (DHT). Like similar DHT search tools, it helps you find technical records — titles, file lists, sizes and info hashes — that peers broadcast on the network.

How indexing works

Indexing is automated. BT9G follows DHT protocol traffic and records metadata that is already being announced publicly. We do not manually review every record before it appears in search.

What we do not do

BT9G does not host torrent files, piece data or user uploads. We do not seed, upload or store the files that a torrent describes. Magnet links, if shown, are generated from public hash metadata so that you can open them in your own BitTorrent client.

Third-party content

Search results may refer to material published by third parties on the DHT or on other websites. BT9G does not sponsor, endorse or control those parties. You are responsible for how you use any link, magnet or client software.

Takedown

If you are a rights holder or need illegal, harmful or personal data removed from the index, use the report form on the result page. Upon a valid request we remove matching records from public search.
